Townsville Endodontics is the region’s locally owned and operated specialist endodontic clinic and was established in 2023 under the direction of Dr Olivia Rae. Dr Rae was born and raised in the Burdekin and cared for patients as a general dentist across Townsville for several years prior to temporarily relocating to Victoria to pursue further studies and complete her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree, specialising in Endodontics at the University of Melbourne.

Dr Rae is passionate about improving access to health technology and improving health-related outcomes for regional communities. As such, she has worked tirelessly to establish Townsville Endodontics as a new, state-of-the art specialist clinic that utilises some of the latest technologies in diagnostic and endodontic services. Dr Rae also facilitates lectures and observation opportunities for James Cook University dentistry students and local general dentists and provides hands-on practical courses to help dentists improve their endodontic skills and the quality of care they can offer their patients. In 2026, Townsville Endodontics welcomed another full-time Endodontist, Dr Lincoln Xu, further expanding the specialist endodontic services available to our Northern and Central Queensland regions.
